We had an epic season of strategic planning [sic] with new projects and initiatives to tell you about, but first, some upcoming events!
We are so excited to offer our 3rd Local Musician Workshop at the end of the month. To say that these events have been incredible would be an understatement. Bringing together such a talented and inspiring group of musicians in one room for an evening of sharing, connecting, and music making has been MAGICAL! ✨✨✨
This month's workshop will be focused on SONGWRITING and SONG SHARING! The feedback from our last two workshops has been that they want more time to make music together - and we heard you! Come ready to share a song with the group, whether it's a work in progress, a phone demo, or just some lyrics!
And it's all going down Tuesday, May 27 at The Union (124 Sydney St. S).

Did you know we’re building a mobile listening app!? That’s right, Midtown Radio has partnered with the good people at Civic Tech WR to build a listening app for all your local music listening needs - and we’re (soft) launching it at their Demo Day!
Join us Wednesday, June 4th at the Builders Club (165 King St. W) for a live demo of the app, a live broadcast in the new space, and a (weather permitting) rooftop social! We’d love to hear your feedback on all three!

The best part about going through a strategic review process is all the new energy and initiatives that come out of it. You’ll hear more about this in the coming months, but for now, know that we’re growing our content production capability, live recordings, and new ways to distribute all this great local music!
